While I am fully aware there will be those who do not agree, I am wondering how many of you would be willing to pay a small fee (perhaps $5.00 annually) for access to LetsRun.com for an entire year. When you consider the amount of race information provided daily, as well as useful training advice, it seems that we owe it to Robert - for all of his time - to give back.

I would gladly pay five bucks a year for this, and if it gets to where they have to do that to keep the site going, I hope others will as well.
id rather give them ten bucks than buy a pair of 80 dollar shoes where they will only get a couple bucks

I would also rather $5 for the service of the site, and then buy my shoes from the local running store...and yes I could send them a check...but a paypal button is quite easy to set up...
I go to another site where people who pay a membership get more features. They are allowed to post html, can do searches, can track threads they posted on ect.
And the other people who don't pay still can post but don't have the added features.
I'd pay a small yearly fee for the added features.

even if it only required a couple of clicks to get to the paypal site???I think it would be to time consuming to administrate who should have access to what...but I think a lot more people would not mind paying between $3-5 instead of paying $80 for a pair of shoes...so it should just be voluntarily...just like they have voluntarily provided the site and space...
