I'm a 19 year old female, and I'll be running my first marathon April 27. I ran a 10 mile race in November, and I've kept my mileage at at least 35 mpw since then, running about 6 miles per day, with a long run of at least 10 miles on the weekends. I wasn't even sure if I was going to be able to run a marathon until this past weekend, or else I would've started seriously training earlier. But I feel like I have a pretty solid base.
I came up with this training plan based on information I found online, as well as advice from people on online forums (nutrition is also included in my plan, so comments on that would be helpful as well):
I've never done speed work, and while I'm willing to add it into my training after the marathon to be able to keep improving my times and such, for these 9 weeks before my first marathon, I'd just like to focus on distance. I'm happy with training 7 days/week, but I'll make sure I'm listening to my body.
I'd like some advice especially on the long runs, to make sure I'll be progressing as I should so I'm ready for race day.
Any advice in general on the plan I've made up would be super helpful.
