How do you know Efraimson and Cranny don't have greater endurance? That doesn't make sense at all. How could you possibly know this?

I hope this is true because it would be pretty funny, but I can't help but think this is just a false rumor...

Its as good as done, neither are running. Fed up with idiotic fan reaction and cry baby competitors.
Yeah, NOP would never act in a cry baby manner...
At that point they would finally not need these: http://amzn.to/1fXFeYh
I sure as hell hope Salazar doesn't "ask" Rowbury to pull out of worlds for the good of the team.

Hopefully, some ex-Nike athletes will step up and add to the discussion. The heaviness of Salazar's actions require further dialogue.
While I completely agree that the more we find out about the heavy handedness of NIKE and AlSal, I would find it hypocritical that former NIKE/NOP athletes would NOW find a moral compass to speak out. They sure seemed to like the power of a brand on their singlet when it was their turn. Their silence until now is shameful, the social media sniping by them now (the liking of certain facebook innuendos and then later removing the "like") paints them, in my eyes, as juvenile. If they had balls they'd all be like Leer and take advantage of a platform and speak his mind, taking a risk, but also showing leadership and true moral courage.

4 hours until the big announcement!!!
Keep waiting because there is no announcement scheduled for 2:00. An announcement may or may not come soon, but there is no announcement about this issue scheduled for 2:00. Also, Hasay and Rowbury are completely innocence in this matter, they did not file a protest and weather or not they go to Worlds will be based on what their coach, sponsor and agent advises them to do. As professional athlete, you could be potentially be in breach of your contract by refusing to compete in a competition you are eligible for and scheduled to compete in.

Wow, oh, wow! What about all the DNSes pulled by athletes over the years? Didn't Jordan and Gabe refuse to run the 1500m this weekend?

So how many unconfirmed stories related to the women's 3000 are popping around Letsrun right now? 16? 27?
Yup 27 at last count and I'm not counting the Ruth Wysocki comes out of retirement one!
While on another front:
Any truth to the Max Siegel at Daytona 500 not the Champs story?
I hear they are eating crow for lunch today.
Stop responding to yourself.
i understand bumping and making contact when there is a large group of runners held at a indoor meet, but when there is only two or three runners left and there is a lot of open space to complete without contact, then it only makes sense contact should be limited....but there is no excuse for what Gabe did out there....yes for DQ
this behavior needs to stop....we some ccountability...and stop saying we did it in the pass without DQing anyone!....This does not make it OKAY!...this needs to change....stop making excuses for.... out of control runners

Response by @usatf on @gg_runs case is promised for later today.
so??
so??
SO are they going to announce just before 5pm then punch out and go home so they don't have to deal with verdict?
Even Marla Runyan knew not to run into runners in front of you and she was legally blind.

Ouch. Wish I had thought of that one.
