Does anyone now if you can buy the color shown on adidas.com at this link:

I dig it. Sounds like it is a good shoe, from reviews I have seen here.

That's the shoe Alan Culpepper wore in the Olympic Marathon.
The racing shoe is the "adistar Competition". We have two colors out right now (light spark/athens blue; white/scarlet/dark navy) in the US, but not the color from our global link. We have a third white based color arriving 1-1-05. Make sure you go a half size down with this flat...it runs long. If you wear size 10, grab size 9.5.

Thanks for a better fitting upper on the Supernova Comps. Much better than the last version.
You'd better wear socks with these shoes though. I saw them at a local running shop...lots of hard plastic mesh on the inside of the shoe. They'd probably tear your feet to pieces if you neglected to wear socks.
I got a demo pair of these this spring; yellow w/ silver & blue stripes. Have only done a couple track workouts in them, they feel ok, just ok to me. They definitely run long. Personally if I were buying another pair I'd go 1 full size down from my normal adidas fit. I've got a couple pair of Supernovas (the old model with the wide stripes and the Cushion model) size 8.5. The adistars I got size 8 because I like tight flats (actually prefer no socks). Even with socks the adistars are a bit floppy.
I did try them without socks to see if the ribs in the sole would irritate my feet and they don't. If I were still racing tri's this would probably be my shoe of choice.
f***ing cool - try eastbay or something.
