There is a half marathon on Thanksgiving and I can't decide whether I should run it. I did the same one last year, but I haven't been feeling great lately. I'm coming off cross country where I did 60mpw for max mileage, but stayed around 45-55 for most of the season. I felt pretty crappy at the end of the season, so I took a little time off and then went back to running a bit. I've done maybe 35mpw for 2-3 weeks now and haven't run long since the end of my season.
Even though I'm not feeling great, I want to run in it, so should I just go for it? Second question would be if I do decide to sign up, should I just do easy mileage for the next few days or go run long on Monday and do easy miles after that?
