I'm 16 and I've never run a marathon but want to next year. My goal is sub 3:00:00 and I've been running this marathon training program before school everyday.

I thought I could handle the mileage after coming off of cross country season but there really aren't many days off in this program. I've gotten shin splints which has taken the fun out of running. I want to continue this training plan but get rid of my shin splints at the same time. Is there a way of getting rid of them without taking a break? The shin splints are only on the lower inside of my left leg and I've focused a lot on my form. I'm going to get new shoes but is there anything else I should do to get rid of my shin splints? Thanks
