Well, NCAAs begin today. Right now, Brown's Evan Weinstock is competing in the decathlon.
I took a look at his collegiate bests on TFRRS to get an idea of what he's capable of. Below I share his bests, what points he scored, and when he achieved that PB:

I agree, it has been way too quiet in here over the past 2 weeks. As a throws enthusiast I have to crow about the the quality of the throwing in Heps Nation in 2013. The results of the NCAA Regionals and ensuing NCAA championships confirm what we have been saying for the past three months: "Heps Throws is currently at an insane level of national competitiveness."
Mozia, Ratcliffe, Mattis all securing the top 5 positions in the nation in their respective sports? Hay getting honorable Mention and Hannah Mayer making the NCAA cut (regardless of performance, as she will be back next year to redeem herself) is an amazing result for Heps Nations.
I'm sure that when the Academic All American list is out there will be proper representation in that area as well.
There are future throws Olympians in our midsts and it will be fun watching them progress towards 2016 and beyond.
Besides their prodigious performances these kids have likely attracted other bright and talented high school kids to look at Heps as an option for nurturing their athletic and academic skills for the upcoming 4 years.
So, how would one define Heps throwers: Super talented and wicked smart, too!!! We have much to be proud of.
