We were still doing the 6 mile, and 10Ks were just starting to become popular.
Age 19 6 mile xc 36:00
(about 2 months of 70 mile weeks, before that 30-50 for previous 6, before that very little maybe 10-15 mpw)
Age 20 (10 mo later) 6 mile roads 31:50
(full year averaging 60 to 75 mile weeks)

I think I was 21. I ran 30:56.
For the rest of the season I didn't break 15:28 for a 5000m. I ran 15:12 earlier that season though.
That Spring was my first time running high mileage, around 90-95 average mpw; the max before that season was high 70s on singles.
My chip time was 39:49. Gun time 39:51
Yes, I'm 15 now and I'm at 37:20
