I got Jakob at 53.3 for the final lap, and Kerr at 53.2. Really fast for both of them. When Jakob ran 3:43.73 last year his final lap was approximately 54.7. With mile races, you often get the runners splits at 1200m, and not 1209m, which means you'll get their last 409m and often not the last 400m. A bit annoying.
Kerr's final 109m were covered in 14.42, Jakob's in 14.49, and Nuguse's in 14.71. (Their 1500m splits were 3:30.92, 3:31.11, and 3:31.51) Really fast. In Eugene last year, Jakob's last 109m were covered in 14.97, and Nuguse's final 109m were covered in 14.87.
I wonder what Kerr (in his current shape) could've done in the last year's mile at the Prefontaine Classic.
