Agreed, Two and a Half Men with Charlie is better. Big Bang Theory is one of the best shows on now, but there's nothing else on but crap.
For the first couple of seasons the show was pretty funny. Since then, it has been a downhill sprint towards mainstream mediocrity, based on relationships and obvious jokes.
Amy and Bernadette killed it. I won't be watching this season's episodes.

Do people just have some extreme bias towards the "god ol' days" that they've lost their memory? Two and a Half Men was ALWAYS a terrible show, with and without Sheen.
Best show on tv right now. Best parts are the science & geek humor. Best intellectual humor in a sit-com since Frasier.
A woman told me I remind her of Sheldon. Compliment or not, I am not sure.
If you think that show is funny you must have the sensibilities of a 50 yr old woman.
Its terribly lame and mainstream pablum.

Then, he fell down the stairs.
Tony Randall did the same character about 40 years ago as Felix Unger in The Odd Couple.
I agree. This show is lame. I am glad they all got paid because I doubt they do much after this.

When I'm at the gym the televisions have the sound turned down and the shows have subtitles.
I was on the treadmill Monday night and watched The Big Bang Theory and just reading the dialogue made me realize how bad that show is as a comedy. Not one joke was funny. That's why they have to put a laugh track in to let you know its supposed to be funny.
Last night I watched The Gilberts and Modern Family and could easily recognize that those two shows have superior writing. I probably even laughed once or twice.
