Should you wait until marriage to have sex? I know a lot of people don't, but do you think it's wrong to not wait?

Yes you should wait! According to Obama sex before marriage has harmful psychological & physical effects.

The health care legislation renews $50 million per year for five years for abstinence-only education. According to the Department of Health and Human Services, "programs that receive this funding must teach that abstinence from sexual activity is the only certain way to avoid out-of-wedlock pregnancy, sexually transmitted diseases, and other associated health problems." And they also have to teach that sex before marriage is "likely to have harmful psychological and physical effects." For every four federal dollars a state receives, it must match $3 (75% of the federal money, in other words).
Should you buy a car without test driving it first?
I can't think of a single reason why you should wait. If you want it and get a chance to do it, do it. Life is short and awful. Chances are you will not meet one person, the right one for both parties, single, early enough, and live a long and happy life with him/her "until death do us part". Take all you can while you can, without hurting others if you believe it's wrong.
as a human male I honestly find it amazing how some people can even consider such a thing as "waiting"
usually these kind of people are ultra-religious nutjobs or socially awkward ugly people looking to justify their "celibacy"/inability to get any

are there non-human males on here?
If you don't wait though, isn't there a greater chance of sexual diseases or something like that, as well as unwanted pregnancy? This happened to a guy I know; he basically had unprotected sex and his girlfriend got pregnant and they were forced to get married.

You and your GF need to make this decision yourselves.

Yes, just read where 48% of ALL births in the United States are paid for with Medicaid. In NYC alone, 76% of all Hispanic births, 70% of all Black births, and 31% of all white births are paid for with Medicaid. Ridiculous how many people have sex and expect taxpayers to pay to raise their children.
You don't know what a trained monkey can do.

only sensible advice on this thread. Do what's right for you. some couples wait, some don't. Neither choice is unethical.

This is a hypothetical question, right? Because there's no way you're going to find a girl willing to have sex with you in your lifetime.
I was thinking about that this morning. I won't go all the way until I let the guy put a ring on my finger. And then take a full test drive a few times during the engagement. Why? Because I am responsible and my life is screwed if I get pregnant. So many of my friends have gotten pregnant even when a condom was used. Then they are stuck with the dude for the rest of their lives because they have a child. Not worth ithe risk. I need to know for sure that I want that guy in my life long-term before I let him stick it me. And I can meet his needs without going all the way.
Yes, if you are religious and plan to marry young (before 25).
If you want to completely take out the possibility of having children out of wedlock, then yes, wait until marriage.

You can do as you please of course, but I don't think it's fair to mention pregnancy and skip these points: condoms tend to work, you can use the pill, and if all fails, you can get your pregnancy interrupted early when there is still not much more than a bunch of cells that cannot even be called a foetus yet. Note: I do realise it is somewhat easy for a man to write this, but still...
Truth is this is basically a choice for women and about 20% of guys. Most guys are lucky have sex at all, and that includes during marriage.
You should wait until you are married, then wait while you are married, wait until you get divorced, then wait while you are divorced, and finally die. This is the proper thing for a man to do.
