Evidently the oxygen isn’t getting to your brain. Breathe thru your nose too.

Why the insults?

That’s good, you should take in as much oxygen as you can, use your ears too if that will help. In regard to your comment, the point of the Tweet that you evidently missed, was the economic data has largely declined while the market has done “quite well since then.”

The CESI measures actual performance vs. projected performance. It is a measure of how well the prognosticators did their job. It is not a measure of a decline (or rise) in factual economic data.

Note that this is the GLOBAL CESI. The US economy version has been in positive territory for most of the last several years.

It’s a common reaction for a narcissist. From slide 5: They demean, belittle, and intimidate.

OK, so the prognostication of Forward PE should be viewed similarly. Wouldn’t you agree Financial Advisor?

OK, here is some more, let’s see how you spin this one Financial Advisor.
https://realinvestmentadvice.com/the-there-is-no-recession-in-sight-chartbook/The person doing the accusing has “Narcissistic Accuser Syndrome” as I define to have these characteristics:
1. Dislike of confident, successful people.
2.Hallucinating that you have the diagnostic skills of a trained psychiatrist.
3.Hallucinating the ability to determine a stranger’s level of empathy, and their need for admiration, based on limited evidence seen out of context.
4.Inability to distinguish between a smart operator with a strategy of aggressive response to critics versus a person with fragile self-esteem.
5. Inability to understand that labeling one individual with an inflated sense of importance and fragile self-esteem at the same time is harder to explain than you want it to be.
5. A deep desire to rationalize one’s own lack of success by imagining the only way that other people attain it is with the help of some sort of personality disorder.
Number 5, seems especially appropriate 2 U.
Five posts in a row. As they say, narcissists love to hear themselves talk.
You know, the funny thing about all of this is when I posted the “What is Narcissism” link a couple of weeks ago, it was clearly in response to another poster. Yet Igy immediately reacted as if it was about him. If the shoe fits....

Seattle,
Ok TNA from low last week and HSGFX from the high same week if you wish until year end . The whole point is small caps have the weakest fundamentals. So if fundamentals beat momentum I win, if not I lose, it really is that simple.
Igy
Update on the gentleman's bet to date.
From that point until the end of the year, you won, as we all know. But i insisted that the window be much larger and go longer.
At this time, Hussman fun is up 2.07% and TNA is up 4.6% from the starting points you referenced.
* your post above was made on Oct. 16, 2018 for reference.
Seattle,
Good job. My view remains that it is momentum versus fundamentals. Momentum is back in vogue. When does that end? Could be next week, hard to say because it is defined by speculation.

Fundamentals drive momentum.
