And of course portfolio theory is failing - bonds are down more than 2% this year, so there hasn't been the usual hedging from bonds.
That said, US stocks are still up for the year - around 3%. So it hasnt' been a disaster, when you look at 2018 as a whole.
totally agree. Just relentless.
Futures are up overnight and climbing, hoping that portends better things for tomorrow. That, and if we revisit the low from a couple of weeks ago, hope that will form a double bottom and rise from there.
