Farah is 26 here, Teg 27.
What a difference.
That is the biggest red flag for juicing i have ever seen. Goes from being a middle of the pack guy to being not just a champion- but a double champion.
I hope he gets caught one day.
More a sign of what could've been for Teg. He ran his sub-13 in 2009, so he wasn't some scrub. Should've been in the 10k.
More a sign of what in the world happened to Bekele.
Take a look at Mo Farah and Matt Tegenkamp. In 2009, they were similar athletes. Similar in age and ability. In 2010, Teg had an injury (stress fracture?) and missed a lot of training. The next few years Teg mentally tapped out. He though that he was too old for the track. Mo is almost as old as Teg and having the best years of his life on the track. Mentality makes a huge difference.
100% agree with you.
Thanks for posting that. Pretty incredible.
Look at his pics from 2007-10, then look at him the last 2 years. He is still obviously very trim, but he looks leaner and more muscular now. The only juice he is on is harder more consistent training and way more speed and gym work than he was doing before.
the craziest thing about that video is how hard solinsky gets dropped at the bell
Salazar is a magician.
