Boyfriend (or ex?) killed like 2 years ago or so when he got rammed into by a shithead in his vehicle. Is she single now?
It appears she was cheating on the poor sod, had another guy for her visits to the home country. If I have the time line correctly, she was basically in bed with him when she got the news from the US and rushed there to play the widow.
This new kid came to visit her some time after the funeral, and somehow extracted her emails to leak to a club fellow sports writer for a newspaper.
And lo and behold: this had happened to her BEFORE. A "friend" leaked earlier emails with her about EPO and her issues self-administering it. The guy was heading into police academy and cleaned his conscience and slate by going public with it. Again, it appeared.
Whether or not she's single is extremely irrelevant. What is relevant is the notion that male athletes seem to prefer her over a wide array of more eligible bachelorettes. Way to state your own irrelevance if you post on women that way when blatant doping is involved. Think you'll get faster the legal way by doing her or other cheats?

It wasn't a secret that she's a cheat, even in her relationship with the late fiancee. She played him to get a visa to the U.S. and he probably wanted to see that investment return in competing in the Olympics and World Champs. Maybe dude thought once she got to the top she'd find some real gratitude for what he'd done for her and stop spreading her legs for Eurotrash type guys. For a chick who wants to be considered clean and a role model she sure likes to associate with a dirty crowd. Might be why nobody else in Boulder wanted to touch her when she came looking for a coach and training group.
And for those asking if she's single, she's got a sleazy boyfriend who's a sub-elite cycling tool. Wonder if he's got some connections to the latest in doping science.
She's now banned until May of next year. Good luck, Adrienne, it looks like your fantasy ride in the USA is over and it's time to come home to Dutchy land.

Herzog is a cheat and needs to be kicked out of the US. Being in the US for her is a privilege not a right. Many honest athletes are denied the right to be here and she should be deported as any other thief should be.
