It gives you an interview to top companies. My son, with his business degree got a job immediately out of college, last year, and is already making over $60,000 with a Fortune 100 company.

Could you reply again but be less on the offensive and less vague?
It ought to give you some knowledge of economics, finance, business strategy and applied mathematics. Would also be helpful if it gave you presentation and writing skills. That being said, I don't have a bachelors degree in business, so I don't know.

The degree itself is worthless without connections in the business world, real experience, and the right personality mix.

Not really.. It teaches, well, business. You learn accounting, finance, marketing, advertising, management skills, operations, interview skills, negotiation skills.. things like that. An MBA is an advanced version, but graduate business programs are generally geared towards building a more valuable contact network.
If you want to major in business, get another major or a minor in something that you enjoy, and hopefully you will be able to combine the two for an awesome career.
You can really do anything you want with a business degree. Andrew Carnegie didn't really know that much about steel compared to the staff he hired.
depends on your major (concentration) at the business school
if you study accounting you will leave with specific skills and abilities
