you need to buy a clue named "IAAF Tables" via google;
According to this IAAF table, Said Aouita ran 3:49.12 in 1997. So much for IAAF tables.
http://www.iaaf.org/records/toplists/middlelong/one-mile/outdoor/men/senior/your idiotic calculations are getting you nowhere in life.
what calculations? 3:59.4 was run in 1955, and 1:46 was run in 1939. In the real world. The only calculation there is that 1:46 happened over 25 years earlier and is two seconds faster than 1:48. If IAAF says the equivalent is 1:48, then IAAF is full of shit. How many times do you see a 1:48 and think, wow, a 1:48! Look, that race had 4 or 5 guys under 1:49! Ridiculous.
Go bother Ventolin three if you're gonna whine about calculations. And think up better insults, you weakling.
