I haven't seen a thread started about this guy yet today, had to get one started. He has more than earned some attention for his efforts.
Nice PR for him this morning, 1:01:52. I didn't realize this guy doesn't have a sponsor. I sure as hell hope he doesn't give up on the sport. I will go out and buy a pair of shoes from any company that signs him.

Maybe on the basis of this performance and the fact that, as last year's top American, he should get some media coverage going into the race, he can convince someone that it's worth at least a few thousand dollars to put him in their singlet/gear on Patriots Day.
If this was Hartmann's second-last pro race ever, I will be very sad. One of my favorite runners.
