HJ evened things a bit, especially since Lazas PR spree was halted for now. He has 100-point lead on Cato, then Scantling (both clear 2.11/6 11, tieing Eaton's Champs record).
Very good competition with high scores for many.

Already through the first three events of the Heptathlon. Kevin Lazas of Arkansas is up by 100pts on Johannes Hock of Texas. Lazas was the high scorer in the 60m and the shot and 2nd highest in the LJ.
Great start for the Razorbacks.

FLOTRACK HAS LIVE UPDATES HERE:
Interviewer to Cory McGee:
What happened to you? Did you run too many races in your converence meet? How dissapointed will you be if you don't qualify?
Larry Rawson thinks that a 4:00 minute mile is still world class.
Skeletor, I mean ummm Larry Rawson just called Mac Fleet, Dale Fleet...
can anyone help me watch the meet free? i dont have a cable provider so espn 3 doesnt work. however, i remember someone giving me a link to the milrose games that didnt ask me for the cable provider
Does anyone know where live results are actually working? Flash results doesn't seem to be updating.
They're working but very slow.
that still asked me for cable provider..
Does anybody know which two guys qualified for the mile final on time?
Whoever the 5th and 6th guys were in the first heat were the two to qualify on time.
They never really showed us a good angle, but did it look like Atchoo forced his way past Fleet at the end there? Or did Fleet give Atchoo the room? Either way, I would have to say I'm surprised Fleet won't be in the final.
I didn't get to see the race. I know Mathews was in the fast heat and I was curious if he snuck in on time. Haven't seen any actual results beyond the first four.

ESPN3 not available in my area...I can't imagine why a "pay for use" option is not available for users that cannot access ESPN3. Arkasas could allow a pay for use (Razorvision), it would only raise money for the host school and not cost ESPN3 anything. Everyone will choose the free option first, pay option 2nd. Ridiculous if you ask me. By the way, I'm on Centrylink and they are horrific to me as a customer.
