In high school I ran 50-60 miles and ran 4:15 for the mile and 50.5 for the 400m. As a true freshman, coaches want me to be a 3ker. I'm now training with the distance guys and running 65ish mpw. I get dropped every workout. 2k repeats... 1 mile repeats... tempo sessions for 25 minutes at 5 minute pace... it's really early in my career but I just don't know if these coaches truly understand what kind of a runner I am. Any thoughts on what to do?
