Does anyone know anything about Pitt's mid-distance program? I know they have a big emphasis on sprints and haven't really produced anyone of note since Sam Bair, but I am considering going there for my major.
I'm an 800/miler with PRs of 49, 1:53 and 4:18. I quit my D1 team where I was running terribly. I didn't improve while I was there and was injured constantly.
I am currently a sophomore and am being trained by my high school coach. I'm hoping to run around 4:12 in the mile this indoor season.
Would I get any money? Would it be worth transferring to? Would I improve?
Any insight would be great, thank you.
