depends on the program.
not good enough for most nationally ranked teams.
most others it is good enough.
start lifting weights and dating girls. the 8k is dumb.
D2 sucks.

26:10 is good enough for many D1 schools.
Not to say that a 26:10 is bad...but there are a lot of BAD D1 schools out there that would take a 26:10 guy (I assume you are talking XC).
That being said, I'm sure you can find a decent D2 school where you can progress to a low 25 guy and a be a contributing member to a National qualifying team.
Yes, I was a D2 All-American with an 8k pr of 24:30's my senior year. My first 8k as a freshman I ran low 27's
