Tom has NEVER scored on the Track at any NCAA Indoor or Outdoor Championship, despite his great accomplishments in Cross, so I highly doubt he will suddenly win something that sginificant
Farrell qualified with the A standard in the 1500 for last summer's Olympics, and would have competed for a medal if not for an injury. Guess I would consider that to be "significant".
He qualified for the 5k, but good try!
Notice I did not say Tom has not done anything "significant", I only pointed out that he has not SCORED (Top 8 for those who do not know) at ANY NCAA Indoor or Outdoor Champs.
I do think he will break the trend this year, but I do not see him winning
He might have the right combo of strength and speed to win it if Kithuka is going to take it out very hard and take the legs out of the kickers. There is no Cam Levins but Lawi, Stephen, Kithuka, Chelimo, etc are still around.
