Lawi is a class act. He wants to compete and knows that his competitors will only make him better. I hope that Lawi gets it right this year and has a crazy good track season. I really think he could go sub 13 next year. Kithuka is strong but I am not sure if he has the speed to handle Lawi. On the other hand if Paul Chelimo can get healthy it is going to be tough for anyone to out kick the guy. The Olympians Estrada and Ahmed are also going to have something to say about this. Track will be awesome this year.
He needs to work harder. Losing last year to Levins should have been a wake up call.
Yea, he has been at this for so many years. That might make him a bit vulnerable at the end of the season; the only two who beat him here did not race last year, and it was a teammate for one of them, so of little consequence. As for being beaten by Levins last spring, Levins had a pretty decent spring/summer -- he stayed with that Olympic 10,000 pretty well.
