We hear this all the time. D2 isn't anywhere near D1!
Razz :D
The crazy thing is that every year D1 denies that Adam State could comepete with the big dogs but when it comes to track they usually have some of the best distance depth the country has.
Just a few years ago they had their top 5 guys under 14 with two in the 13:30's plus a few more sub 30 min 10k guys and sub 9 steeplers and all around they are one of the best programs around. Track times don't lie and they correlate with XC performance. This team right now has 5 guys that could go out and run sub 14:10, possibly even sub 14. They would definately come home with a top 4 finish from this years nationals.
