Iona has to be the worst performance by a favored team, possibly of all time: 29th with 626 points.
Maybe they should look at stealing Forest Braden from UCLA. He was the top PAC-12 coach at nationals. His guys put 4 in before Oregon's 3rd and their 5th was right with Oregon's 4th. Yup, UCLA sure kicked Oregon's withered dick in the dirt when it counted. Braden's a northwest boy too...might be worth looking into sending that surly east coaster at Oregon back to Boston. Well, not too much more to say on the matter when you can't even beat a second tier SEC cross country program from a conference that doesn't focus on distance, the final results speak for themselves.
