Wisconsin Returners with experience in Great Lakes or Nationals in 2010 or 2011:
SR Reed Connor
SR Maverick Darling
JR Michael Brice
JR Alex Brill
While I agree Wisconsin has a great/reliable 1-2 punch, their 3,4,5 could spell Wisconsin's doom
First let's show the two teams that will beat Wisconsin out of the two auto Great Lakes spots because of having a deep/strong 2-5
Michigan:
SR Dan Lowry
JR Brendon Blacklaws
SR Zach Ornelas
JR Morsi Rayyan
JR Mark Beams
Wildcard (FR Tony Smoragiewicz)
Notre Dame:
SR Jeremy Rae
JR Martin Grady
SR J.P. Malette
SR Jonathan Shawel
JR Walter Schafer
Wildcard (FR Michael Clevenger)
Now how Wisconsin can drop to 4th in GL
Indiana matches even with Wisconsin's 1-2
Bayer/Mayhew = Connor/Darling
3-5 Indiana's JR Ricker's, Nate Morrow's of this world are simular to Michael Brice/Alex Brill
So I feel that if Indiana and Wisconsin are both having solid races it is not crazy to think Indiana can out edge Wisconsin
So now it comes down to will GL take 3 or 4+ teams to Nationals
I say 3
GL History
2011 5 teams
2010 3 teams
2009 3 teams
Again I could be wrong, but I dont see Wisconsin as the powerhouse they were last year.
BTW:
Ok State should be ranked number one
SR Girma Mecheso
JR Shadrack Kipchirchir
JR Tom Farrell
SO Kirubel Erassa
JR Joseph Manilafasha
SO Fabian Clarkson
If Clarkson is your 6th guy you are VERY good
Should be exciting/fun to watch it all unfold
P.S. I'm not a Wisconsin hater just an observer of returners from prevoius seasons
And the one team that shocks me that no one is talking about is UVA
Mark Amirault, Sean Keveren, Kyle King, Zach Gates is a solid 4 that most of the top 30 teams dont have
