My first meet is this Saturday. I have been running 70-75 MPW since the last week of July. The early season meets are important for my teams ranking so I need to perform well. I will probably only run 4 miles on Friday(My usual easy day is 6 miles) I will probably do my long run Saturday of 10 miles( My usual long run is 12-13 miles)
I will probably end this week at 65 which is 8 miles less than what last week was. Is this to much of a drop if I want to peak in mid/late November?
Ps...we are having 2 workouts this week. 3.6 Mile tempo today, Track workout of some kind on Wednesday.
