Any dark horse teams to crack the top 10 this year at nationals? Anyone like Eastern New Mexico, Queens, anybody from the MIAA, East Central?

I call Susan Tanui as a surprise top 5 finisher on the women's side. She runs for Alaska Anchorage and was runner-up in the steeple in the spring.
I predict them to pull an Alan Webb to get in, and then clutch up.
Nah but seriously, my bad. They're eligible for conference and I just got confused. Them boys gonna tear up when they get in though.
Western had a good recruiting year! Top 2 with Adams State, possible repeat.
It's highly unlikely that freshmen are going to carry any team to a national title. No matter how good the freshmen are, they're still inexperienced, undeveloped, and probably a bit intimidated when they get to the national level.
Bump?
Any teams from South or Southeast going to get ranked this year?
Adams State has this in the bag...
This picture from nats last year pretty much sums up what we can expect this year:

Same for ACU. They hired a guy & after he arrived on campus he quit. ACU is scrambling to get anyone to fill the CC & dist position.
Look for King College (TN) to be much improved this year in that Southeast Region.
Silas Rugut a Kenyan from Columbus State is finally in shape and dropped 8:41 for 3200 in our team time trial. This is a long was from his 10:24 from last year.
PS: He was fat last year.
How does UC San Diego place in major meets? (If they even qualify I have no idea)
Even though they lost their top runner, Naseem Haje? He transferred to Adams St. and will redshirt this year.
They will probably make it out if they avoid any injuries. They do not have a deep squad at all...
Yes, but sub in Dickson Kirgat who is likely to be sub-25. But yes, they don't have any real depth with only 7 on their roster.

Nimrod (that's his real name). Wont be running for ENMU. The coach they had was a duche (shot putter) back in the day.
Emma Coburn to miss Olympic Trials after breaking ankle in Suzhou
Jakob on Oly 1500- “Walk in the park if I don’t get injured or sick”
