In a few weeks I'll start my college track training at school and aim pretty nervous. My time for my event is pretty good, especially compared to the runners already there, but there is an amazing class coming in, so I guess I'm a mid pack kind of guy overall. I've ran over the summer and done pretty well, being able to get some decent mileage in, especially compared to HS, but I'm still really nervous. I don't want to be cut and Im not amazing in longer aerobic workouts or on long runs, butI've really worked and got better in them (albeit not amazing like some teammates may be).
Inknow I'm kinda talking to myself, but does anyone know from expierence how quick the average coach is to cut people for not being great at practice, but still having a good incoming time and putting in effort?
