In the interest of full disclosure, I'm a huge fan of Armstrong. I also happen to think he doped. Do I condone it? No, but I simply think he doped in a doping era (just as Barry Bonds crushed homers in baseball's steroid era).
Going after Armstrong is a waste of time. He has the resources to "lawyer" himself out of anything, not to mention crush anyone who supposes to testify against him. If you DO succeed in bagging the elephant, it will do absolutely NOTHING to clean up the sport of cycling as it currently stands.
People who truly want to clean up sports (cycling, T&F, baseball, etc.) should quit chasing the past. Grind the CURRENT cheats into dust and sports will be largely spot free now and going forward.
