Actually, arrested and released on bond.
Sometimes "resisting arrest" is code for not being sufficiently deferential to our brave men in blue. I think a reflexive screaming of "Stop resisting" to the lame, the halt, the unconscious, the comatose, and the dead is part of police training in many municipalities.
Yeah, it sounds like cop over-reaction to me.
"Smith said Peterson turned around and told the officer that he heard him the first time and pushed him in the shoulder, causing him to stumble. The officer told Peterson he was under arrest and to put his hands behind his back. Peterson began yelling, pulled away and "assumed an aggressive stance," so another off-duty officer came to help".
Reads like some standard cop BS to cover-up their acting like entitles bullies

Sounds like a young guy who was probably drunk got arrested for shoving a cop...
Did something similar happen to you and you're still angry about it?
Remember, just because someone got arrested doesn't mean corruption, brutality, and that we would be better off with anarchy.
The point is that it wasn't a cop it was a bouncer! Cops moonlighting as bouncers shouldn't be allowed to revert to being a cop when they choose.
As an aside, he would have been a great sprinter.
The guy was working as a bouncer so even though he told Peterson he was a cop, if I was Peterson, I'd say I didn't believe him and though that from his attire and behavior I figured he was just some hot head bouncer trying to act tough.
All I have to say is, hope this does not affect his fantasy production. I need the points.
Fortunate he wasn't tasered and beaten. also lucky not to be charged with assaulting a police officer, which is a felony.
Whole thing reads like BS.
I thought that little n*glet was impossible to catch.
