Yeah... with that conversion scale I highly doubt runner12324332455 got a 1480.

i'm guessing you attended the 14th ranked law school? otherwise you would have let us know that you fell into the slightly more prestigious "top-13" bracket.

1510 out of 1600 SAT

If you were a lawyer, you would know exactly why I mentioned top-14. There are 14 national law schools where there graduates can get jobs at top firms in just about any city in the country. The rest of the law schools are regional for the most part.
Georgetown is almost always #14 and I did not attend that school. My law school is usually somewhere between 10 and 12, although the difference #14 and #10 (or any top-14 law school outside of the top 3 or 5) is fairly negligible.
Well, the job part isn't true any more and there's beginning to be a pretty huge difference between #14 and #10.
But historically the top 14 schools have always been the same schools and are commonly referred to as the T14, so he's right to refer to his school like that.

LOL, grammar noob. Nobody gives a crap where you went to law school. I scored 174 on my LSAT, but was smarter than to go into the profession. Reality check: lawyering is no longer prestigious. You are not special, nor is anyone else on this thread for braggarts and egoists.

you win this round Double Dog. i'll take consolation in the fact that i'm thankfully not a lawyer.

^^ Because you're not bragging nor being egotistical at all right? But unlike everyone else here I'm only moderately intelligent at best, so maybe I shouldn't stick my nose in.
My SAT was 1578 (out of 1600).
We didn't run many 5,000s back then, but I was generally able to cover the distance in something less than 1,578 seconds (= 26:18--I think?).
OTOH I doubt that I ever covered 3.107 miles in less than 16:18 (= "15:78"?).
PS to the person who was NMS with a 1330: good work! I was one too, and knew several others, but I doubt that any of us was as "efficient" on the SAT as you.
By the way, BITD there was actually a separate NMSQT that we took as juniors.
My 5K PR was unbeatable by the old SAT. 16:50 5K, 1330 SAT. At least I was honest. I find it hard to believe that there are so many 1500+ SAT, sub-15:00 5K guys posting here.

Why did you even bother taking the LSAT? Seems like a foolish use of time if you were too smart to go into the profession.
1560 (there were only two parts in my era)
15:55
In high school I was known as a "brain", in college a runner.
SAT (1995) 1540

No. Feel free to add in additional dimensions in your post. There is no limit to the amount of lying going on here.

So 1480 = 15:20
And 1510 = 15:10
???

18:15 (2001)

There is no incentive to lie. You don't know who I am.
I'm prouder of the 5k--it took more work. But the SAT score was more useful.
I took the ACT in 1979. My score of 26 approximates my current 5K fitness.

1) Incentives are individual things. What is an incentive to one person is not an incentive to another. Hence, you may not have an incentive to lie (I have no way of knowing) but you cannot reasonably speak for everyone.
It is clears from this and many other threads here on LRC that many people do lie about their intelligence, success with the opposite gender, running PRs, investment performance [one quite hilarious, well known example here], and many other areas.
2) It is true that I do not know who you are. It is equally true that I never claimed to.

Okay, good points.
I guess I should have said that I don't see any reasonable incentive to lie on a thread like this. My guess is that most people begin lying on threads here because it's a way to rhetorically attack something that they can't comprehend. They just make up crazy stuff as a way of de-authorizing a legitimate post that they see as "bragging."
....... waiting for someone with a calculator to show what a 1500 SAT converts to for 5km; including splits for each 400m.
FWIW, my SAT score woulda been significantly higher if we'd gone out a little faster.
