Running leadoff on any relay is tough, but especially on the 4x4 where you have to run lanes the whole way because of the 3 turn stagger...Nadolsky has consistently split in the low to mid 46s, which is a lot tougher to do than you think on a leadoff leg...Don't kid yourself, if Nadolsky were running 2nd or 3rd leg and got a moving start, and didn't have to run in lanes, he'd be splitting 45-mid.

sorry though, 46-mid isn't going to cut it though. any relay at the upper levels needs to have their second best guy leading off, which he clearly isn't and wasn't. the weakest leg should be third, which makes me very surprised that cas was there.
not saying he's terrible, but he's outclassed sizably by everyone on both lsu and florida.
