I am a rising high school senior looking to break 16:00 in XC 5k next year and I want an elite opinion on shoes such as the Brooks Pure collection.
In your experience - do shoes that promote forefoot strike lead to better performance?
I am aware that these shoes may contribute to better form, but will a reduced heel also mean more effective training?
I want to get the most out of my miles this summer, with the least possibility of injury.
I am having trouble deciding between a more conventional shoe such as the Brooks Ghost 4 and the minimal Brooks Pure Flow.
your bottom line opinion - to get the goal time which shoe would YOU choose?
