Has anyone been fortunate enough to race in this new flat from New Balance yet?
It's supposed to only weigh 5 something OZ and enough to handle a marathon.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

How is this related to the 1400?
A little more info here.

I wear tested the shoe. I'd feel comfortable wearing it for a marathon out of the box. I got about 150 miles out of them before I had to send them back, and the shoe still felt great then, although the midsole was highly compressed at that point (my biggest complaint). My comfort point for racing a road marathon with them would be up to about 75 miles of wear.
The fit was phenomenal, no pressure points or otherwise. Wider than comparable racing flats (Streak XC2 comes to mind) but still hugs the foot well (not as wide as Wave Universe). Good road grip, I like the feel of the RevLite midsole providing responsiveness with just enough cushion for pavement. My sample came in at a hair over 5 oz so feels pretty light too.
