196 team points at THE SEC conference meet? Arkansas beat the number 1 ranked Florida by 103 points! 103. Arkansas may not win at NCAAs, but they certainly proved that they are by far the deepest team in the country. They had a scorer in nearly every event besides the throws.

How in the hell does a 9:17 steeple score in an SEC conference meet?
Tennessee - 10th with 30 pts - WTF. Someone needs to stop rearranging the deck chairs on the titanic and fire the captain.
For the past several years Arkansas whips Florida at SECs, and then Florida goes on and finishes top 3 at NCAAs. Depth wins conference meets, but having a few super elites wins national titles.
On a side note, anyone know why Demps didn't run, is he injured?
The SEC has horrible distance runners. Arkansas used to be a great distance school, so they have a squad of distance runners that are only good on the conference level, how many of their distance runners 800-10k? have qualified for regionals? how many will make it to nationals?
Anyways they were able to rack up good points in the distances. That'll all change next year when A&M rolls in, they have a distance squad on par with Arkansas.

8:37, 5th on the NCAA list, only got 5th at the B1G TEN meet.

Demps tweaked a hamstring a week or two ago and was being held out for precautionary reasons. His big goal is the Olympic Trials.
