Because retailers who wish to carry Brooks shoes must adhere to their very strict UMAP policy. They do not want their product associated with walmart like pricing games. If you violate it, your account is suspended. Go support your LRS.

100% correct answer. Brooks actually values their product instead of whoring it out to anyone that wants to carry it and marking it down to hell when it doesn't sell. *cough... Asics...cough*

Brooks discounts used to work at runningwarehouse....WTF?
I emailed them regarding the Garmins and they said Garmin doesn't allow them to sell with coupon codes anywhere. Huge bummer, I loved getting a nice amount of cash off everytime I splurged on a new GPS. They're still a great site

If you want to save money why not use your original GPS, sounds like you change it every time the wind changes direction

Are you sure about this? Only Brooks I bought was from Amazon like 3 years ago and it was discounted from like 110 to 25. I hated the shoes mainly because it was heavy and cumbersome plus it was for pronators. I didn't know about the pronation shoes back then. The shoes was Brooks Trance 7 or 8. It was like running with a tank boots. It did make good sturdy walking shoes though.
Up until sometime in early to mid 2011, running warehouse discounts worked for brooks shoes. Since then, however, it sucks now because a pair of brooks ghost shoes are 100.00 retail when I used to be able to get a 15% discount and pay 85 for them. It sucks to have to pay the full MSRP now. What good is the team discount now? I guess it's good for most apparel because it works for that on that site. Even brooks new minimalist type shoes like the pure flow are 90 and u can't discount which is just ridiculous. I love brooks but their recent price hikes suck.
Then go to your local store. They'll have a team discount. Plus, you're supporting your local running store. It's a win-win.
