I have a nice Timex watch but whenever I wear it, I get a bad itch/rash. Are there any good watches that have different bands. Someone told me he has a Suunto watch, but all the ones that I've seen have a rubber wrist band. Thanks.

I have the same problem. I used to find cloth/velcro wristbands for Ironman watches and they worked OK. Now, I just carry the watch with my fingers when I run. Good luck.
Save some money. Take a tube sock, cut it in a 1 inch strip and wrap it around your wrist when you run. Saves you 20-30 bucks or more.
Rolex and other fine time pieces generally have metallic bands. Less dressy watches may have leather or faux leather bands.
Can you keep the same brand (Timex), but just switch to a metal band? See link below...
Aren't the bands removable/replaceable? If yours is, go to Wal-Mart or wherever and buy a cheopo watch with a nylon/velcro strap for 5 bucks and swap with the rubber one.
You can have whatever kind of wristband you want - or as many as you want.
Google: NATO strap
Try it, and you'll never go back to a two piece strap.
I thought they were made of plastic not rubber?
I've got a Casio which has a fabric strap
I bought a velcro band for my Garmin 305, and it's the greatest thing since sliced bread. Highly recommended!
