I use to run after my workout at the gym, but Im not sure if using the calf machine and other equipment is going to drastically shorten the lifespan of my shoes.
Should I use two different shoes?

Aw shit man. If I saw you in the gym then I saw you runnin', I'd be all like "yo man. You runnin' in the same shoes you done gone to the gym in. You crazy man. What you thinkin', bro." Shit man.
Thanks for the laughs, but I would also appreciate serious responses.
It will not drastically shorten the lifespan of your shoes. Carry on as you were.
I use different ones because my running shoes are dirty as shit and smell like bigfoot's dick.
Do you work out in flats?
Do you often take it up the ass?
use old running shoes for the gym. this also makes your newer running shoes feel more cushiony. atleast for me it does.
For me my gym shoes are my retired running shoes. Maybe there's not a good reason for it, but it's what I've always done.
