Yeah, sorry, I guess I wasn't clear enough. I wouldn't expect the coaches to offer her "financial support." That's not what a coach is for, and would make no sense, and doesn't happen anywhere. Coaches don't pay athletes. However, as the organizers/leaders of the Stotan group, it is their responsibility to be in contact with Nike/sponsors about appropriate support amounts for their top athletes, Maegan specifically.
Stotan's done a great job with her, but the immediate feeling one gets from the Arises posts on this thread is that money is "not a concern." If they don't get in touch with Nike about fair compensation, they're not doing their job as heads of the program.
But yeah, they work hard and I was never saying they should pay her. I think everyone on earth knows that's not how the thing works.
