Ummmm, because she constantly brags incessantly about herself and is not ever going to break 2:20, which she did said, yet alone approach Paula's record in the future.
Confidence is one thing dude, but she's over the top and I am glad that Desi finally put her in her place. I was laughed at when I said Desi would beat her in Boston and many posters chimed in saying she had plenty of time after giving birth. Then after Desi beats her out come the excuse makers, including Kara herself who said prior to the race that she was well prepared and had bounced back quicker than even she expected. She didn't have a bad race, but when the real racing started, where was she?
As for Adam, give me a break. What has he done in the last 4 years?
It is not wishing poor results, it's being realistic, which you aren't. Adam has no chance to make the men's team in the 5, 10, or marathon as he's not breaking 1:05 in the half.
I agree with others on Kara. She may make top 3, but it's far from a sure thing and I for one won't be surprised if she doesn't make it. I am seeing 4th or 5th and would rather see someone else make it. She won't drop out as there is money involved.
No move for you, checkmate!
