I run high school track and XC, I'm a junior. I started wearing orthotics in my Nike Pegasuses abouu two years ago and I've been almost totally injury free running about 50mpw. I wear flats for shorter intervals but I was looking to get some less substantial/lighter trainers for tempo runs and longer intervals. I'm afraid to ditch the orthotics in the middle of track season, so I'd like a shoe that I could wear with them but would feel better running fast (specifically less heel, lighter weight). Suggestions?
