German, I hope you don't read the lousy advice and off the mark comments of posters like many here, so I hope you are not reading this. Waste of your time and, other than a great 600m video, a total distraction for you and from other performances. . They, like I, would give anything to run one of the two times you ran that famed day. Were I your coach, after all you have been through, I would have ordered you off the track after the shoe came off. Worry not. With your talent, you will very likely have the last laugh. Even if not, what you have already done leaves me in awe. These guys forgot that Galen was in a longer race, was not recovering from or prone to injury, and his shoe came halfway off. None likely have ever been to Ethiopia (I have) to understand some of the points made. These guys have not made the NCAA finals, have not run times like yours, have not battled back from injury, and have not endured the Lets Run insult boards like you have. They can vent anonymously, rather than in front of you. Please ignore them. Sad that somehow the best website, one of the best things in recent years for running, LetsRun.com, has insult-laden message boards. I guess it matches other sports and the venting and venom. Ignore it, have the comeback I fully expect, and put that talent to full use. Even if you don't, go down as one of the greatest runners in the history of HS distance running, with times on one day that both rank on all time lists. Wow. Fantastic. Far far above the troll driven drivel on this WTF parade chain.
