The Americans obviously don't give a crap about this meet - why are they even bothering to hold it anymore?
Are the Canadians so insecure that they take pride in beating a bunch of no-names? Step and start beating the Africans, then you can say that you are accomplishing something. But then what can you expect when you look at the crappy performance levels of the indoor CIS program (compared with the NCAA), and they don't even bother to have an outdoor competition program, how lame is that?
I think the Americans care. Only a few guys appear to have opted out. Max King, who has run World XC multiple times, has also run NACACs and praised the experience in an interview after the Nationals meet the other weekend. What do you suggest USATF do, send the World XC team to NACACs as well?
Good result from Colin Leak. I see he's now an assistant to Gibby at Michigan. On that subject - does anyone know what Ed Moran's training situation is like now? He was an assistant at W&M - has he kept that job under the new coach? Is he coached by Gibby remotely while still living in VA?
