I'll also vouch for Clarkston Kent. I've never mit him, but I've exchanged numerous e-mails with him over the past year. I also know about the story being written, as I've been extensively interviewed by the writer. He was an excellent interviewer - very thorough, eminently fair and meticulous in how he constructed his understanding of the events in this saga.
It would be really nice if the writer could get Kip's own story from him in person, as this would allow him to defend himself. It would also make the story much, much more compelling however it comes out. But this won't happen until Kip gets brave and talks to the reporter in person. He really has nothing to lose in being interviewed, and everything to gain.
