Rojo says he might start a Kip Litton thread but only 1 and only 1 thread
Dude, cutting a course in a major way rates worse than doping, no?
Seems strange that we can have threads calling runners dopers, but aren't even allowed to discuss some other unusual performances. I would prefer a thread with some ground rules, so that it didn't get deleted, than an anything goes thread, that lasts 1-2 days (or hours) then disappears.
it had about 200 posts within a couple of days.
Rojo said he might start one
I hope that the fine folks @ LetsRun.com allow this to be seen to its conclusion. This guy is a scam and it has to be recognized by everyone. Marathon season will be upon us shortly, and Dr. B.S. will surely enter some.

+1
I can't be the only one that doesn't give a $hit about this topic. It is mildly amusing, but the hard-on that some of you clowns have about him is really annoying. I accept that he cheated, now what? Move on for Christ sake, you sound like a jilted lover. Go boil his kid's rabbit and get it over with.
what about fraud/prize monies?
I think if/when a Kip Litton #3 thread comes about, it may have be a sticky thread at the top because the replies could work their way up to the hundreds+

This is a good point, actually. Probably the majority of posters on lrc have at one point in time accused some runner of doping. The Brojos have never shied away from trashing dopers and other kinds of cheaters. It does seem very strange that this has either gone unnoticed by them (they've never commented) or that they are actively eluding the hubbub on here. Has a lawyer been in contact with the Brojos?

You're right! Why care about some douche cheater? Why care about some douche winner for that matter? Why care about anything, ever. Maybe I should only care about not being annoying? Throw logic out the window, a small car full of clowns rollin through.
What, he's a ghost now? I'm sure there will be plenty of bean-counters like you, watching every move he makes from now on. If he cheats, he will be caught. Why are you giving this guy so much credit for being able to beat the system? What's the deal with you?

actually when he's very likely cheating, sometimes he's NOT caught..
examples:
2010 BAA 5K - 17:17
2010 Cox Providence Marathon
2010 St. Louis Marathon
2010 Vermont City Marathon
2010 Gasparilla 5K (Tampa, FL) - 17:33
2010 Gasparilla Marathon
OK, fair enough. But since you have no problem using his name when you call him a cheat, have the balls to use your name to call him out. I have a real problem when cowards hide behind fake names while they make serious accusations about people with real identities. Put up or shut up. If you don't, guys like me will continue to call you out as the coward that you clearly are. I'll be thrilled to retract that if you give up your name, but we both know that won't happen.

Rojo contacted me in regards to repeated posts/an email I'd sent and said he was unaware that the Kip threads had been deleted and that he thinks exposing his cheating is a good thing. He's asked the moderator to not delete Kip Litton threads, but would like there to be only one Kip Litton thread. He also said "maybe I'll start an official kip litton thread", so hopefully he does that soon. He doesn't know how to retrieve the old thread, but with any luck maybe Wejo can and we can link to it from the official thread.
Anyway, I personally plan on honoring his request of keeping it to a central thread, and I encourage others to do so as well.
This is cool - I'm impressed with the LRC community pulling together.
To be sure, the Brojos do have to be damn careful here. This is a real person who lives in the US, and unlike all us, they are clearly identifiable people associated with this website. If The Brojos are willing to undertake this, they will have to monitor the thread VERY carefully to make sure information is coming in rather than just speculation and name calling. Libel laws certainly must come into play here if the site takes on this issue. Having said that, I applaud any efforts by Letsrun.com and the Brojos to take on any potential cheating happening on the scale that has been accused.
is that you kip?
Who is this Kip Litton cat? Seriously, who the hell is he?!

Excellent point. Maybe we can try to be extra considerate of that "risk" and stick to the facts. Keep speculation and name calling out of it, but make sure that speculation/questions are clearly presented as such.
I imagine everyone would agree that the goal is to piece together the details, in an effort to get him to stop the dishonesty & cheating.
I wish the guy would just realize that he could still still be an inspiration to family/friends by doing his best possible... whatever that is (a 2:55, a 3:55 or even a 5:55 marathon). I can't imagine there's much true satisfaction going about it the way he has been.
Good call, Junior. Attack one of the few adults in the room. I'll put up the challenge again; give up your name if you are going to make serious accusations. Why are you so scared? If you are correct you have nothing to fear. I hope that this Kip thread isn't just a refuge for cowards. Doesn't anyone have the balls to go on record when you publicly attack someone? Bueller? Bueller? Cameron Frye? Though so.
