The usual suspects finished 1,2,3 for Stanford.

If your post constituted an actual sentence it would be structured as:
Women's results do not constitute real results.
Of course, it would still be false - only false in a more intelligible way.

Just got back from the races. Nothing like cross country in the rain. Congrats to all the teams, but Stanford looked really dominant out there.
What a battle for top 4 teams.
Arizona has really come on this season.
Arizona is apparently coming back onto the national scene in XC. It is so great to see the Pac 10 with so many strong teams.
I am wondering though, whatever happened to all those Washington women from 2008 who should be juniors and seniors and leading their team? I did notice an earlier post that Christine Babcock ran today, even though she has been injured for a year, and didn't run especially well today. Why would a coach let her run, and waste her final season when the team is not going anywhere this year?
Bottom line is ASU has fallen off the map. You might say that they are young... pretty much they suck, they don't get any recruits, they take a girl who was a 4 time footlocker finalist and she runs slower than she ever did in HS and boys.... hummmmmm well it is sad.... poor ASU :(...
This is always a potential problem, especially with female runners. Being a FL finalist doesn't mean much if an athlete's body changes, or if goals and priorities in life change.
ASU is a fantastic program and has an intelligent and diligent coaching staff. They were good, they are good, and they will continue to be good. Enough said.
Oregon's Depth is scary bad
Guess Vin is still looking for that 5th man?
ha ha... were good... not now. Actions speak.
Top 3 Stanford at 23 flat for 8k. 4:37 pace... Wow. Just wow.
The way I see it they have three homies who could lay down 27:25-27:45 on the track. Wow is right.

yeah and then some. I mean theyll a solid team today, but lack a 5, and next year they lose Acosta, Mercado and centorwitz, leaving Luke as their lone top guy, and the guys moving up will no doubt make up some time, but they had quite a few guys pretty far back. But alas, with their name and the success that they've enjoyed in recent history, plus with Vin's recruiting/development, Im sure we will see the stars reallign for oregon by next year
