I would love to see a 4xmile race that included Oregon, UW, and Tennesee. But, I doubt UW will travel out to Penn again this year, after getting beat fairly handily by JJ Clark's girls last year...and Oregon seems to have avoided going head to head with UW. Too bad...that would be a great race.

I don't think a solo run counts as a race. It's more of a time trail when you run by yourself.
Yea, got forbid the girl challenges herself instead of running slower with the rest of the field and blowing them away at the end. Now that would make it a race if she had not tried very hard.

She did not lead until the second half of the race and had Felnagle for company for half of that. Pixler did run a strong second half, but even that half was only the same pace as the 10,000.

yeah i saw it, it was slower than the pace koll ran for 2 of them.....
d2 sucks
why are so many people here on LR such haters, and to top it off I would guess that most of you with opinion's couldn't run as fast as Jordan or Jessica; and I mean the guys because we know exactly where they stand compared to all the women in the world.
pathetic, i could do that in my sleep and in trainers, on an up hill track.
good for jordan. No one ever said Jessica Pixler was better than koll. 15:44 is still a really great time for a girl no matter what division. Even though i do agree, for a stanford meet, esp both mens and womens 1500's, not as fast as last year. But, there is another one :)

I think that Oregon just did go head to head with Washington. In head to head, Oregon came out ahead. Hassay beat Washington's first runner; Kesselring beat Washington's #2 runner and Blood beat Wasington's #3 runner. And Oregon did this without Buckman, who ran a 4:12 last weekend, and Alex Kosinski, who may or may not redshirt this season.
No Schaaf or Campbell this weekend. Hmmm.
hasay is looking a bit more solid in the legs these days
I think that Mayeroff sent her some 666 ENERGY DRINK and she ran a great race with all the caffeine and b-vitamins!
