I read somewhere on this forum that Derek Clayton used to run in this shoe for a while.

I grew up in Oz wearing Volleys. You definitely run differently than when wearing runners. A bit like running barefoot without the road burn. Personally I find them too narrow and the uppers cause blisters, but I still like to walk around in them.

I run in volleys. Best running shoes I own. I have tried various different brands and types of expensive runners but always end up coming back to the volleys for there natural feel and they have actually caused me the least amount of injury too. 27 M West Australia.
